21: Electrical Documentation: PCB Design
TOPIC 1: PCB Design
First off, there are no notes or audio from me for this discussion as I found it best for this subject to be addressed by the folks in industry that do it every day.
When a circuit has been built in the lab and it is to be put into service in a facility or otherwise duplicated as a product, a more careful approach must be taken than a breadboard. Typically, once a designer has come to the stage where things function correctly he or she will turn to software to design a printed circuit board (PCB). The following two videos take you into the process through which a PCB is created.
There will be no assessment for this lecture.
